Predict the Fournette Stat Line

Quote:A touchdown for every thousand yards?

He'd be the opposite of Leroy Hoard who once had one yard rushing and three touchdowns in a game.

Woops I meant 2500 yards.  Thats way more reasonable.

Well, I'm looking at the LG position last year which started with Joeckel and ended in a carousel of lower-tier back-ups.

If the scouting reports on Robinson are fairly accurate, Robinson should represent an upgrade at that position. But, it is indeed an unknown at this point.

If the scouting reports on Robinson are fairly accurate, he should also represent an upgrade over Parnell at RT.

I can totally see Cann moving to LG, and then Earl Watford duking it out with Parnell and Omameh for the RG spot.

It's certainly a possibility.  I think that if Albert shows up with a decent attitude, they may want Robinson to play next to him and soak up some veteran knowledge.  I think he'll get looks at LG before RT and if they aren't confident with his LG play they may try him on the other end.

Going with 1,250 on the ground with 12 rushing TD's. And I'll throw in another 200 through the air with a pair of receiving touchdowns.

So that's 1,450 total yards with 14 total TD's. That's basically a 90 YPG average. And I think that's more than fair for a running back that was selected fourth overall. I expect him to have some pretty big games and then I expect him to struggle throughout the season.

Thanks for the correction.

I'm sure they'll look at Robinson at every OL spot aside from Center. I'm just guessing that when it's all said and done, we'll see Albert and Robinson at the two OT spots one way or another, although Albert may be too old to move to the right side at this stage. His footwork is too set at LT.

Ok then.

BTW, Eric Dickerson... another big, fast, upright runner... holds the rookie rushing record with 1808 yards.

Anything less then at least 1,000 rushing yards and at least 8 rushing TD will be a failure and a wasted year.

Leroy Hoard was the penultimate short yardage runner.  My favorite quote from him was this, "If you need one yard I will get you three.  If you need five yards I will get you three."  The only reason I remember that he got three touchdowns off of one yard rushing is that I started him in my fantasy football league out of desperation and everyone bellyached about it for weeks.

1300 yards and 10 TD's on the season

Quote:Honest question. Do not think about the things you post on here before laying it out? Would save you some grief from being wrong a lot of the time.
Honest answer I have been wrong way less than right.  I was the first one to predict Coughlin in a Executive role and Marrone staying our coach with our oc staying as well.  Way before it happened.

Look it up.

Your trying to draw at straws and make a name for yourself.  Yet I ran teal time radio and had a blast,  Yet I hung out with the BCB and TSH,  the old Jaxson Deville hit on my wife.

I went to a Comedy show in Jax and had to defend the Jaguars from everyone in Jax.

I called JDR a great coach with lack of talent.  And now as hc of Radiers is proven that.   I have not missed on e game in entire Jaguars existence.  Via live, radio, or tv.  I had one of them$2000 radios to listen to Jaguars games before direct tv had sunday ticket.

So no.  Your words mean nothing to me nor input.   I have seen trolls here crowned as great posters and called um for what they were from the beginning.

So your serious question  is mute.  Or moot.

I don't buy in Blake. And I don't buy the 10 wins thing.   There is way to much to fix in so little time.  I believed in Blake but he dont believe in himself.  And if or until he does.  He will not win.  I have brought up stats of a stronger running game and less wins.  And told but.....

I have brought up a better line every year and until someone else mentioned less sacks and less pressure each year was ignored. I have brought up the top 10 d and number 1 in rushing and still less than 500 record which is a fact.  And yet ignored.

The reality is most fans want to be excited and rock with teal shades.   And that is cool.   And I would love for us to win 16 superbowls and go 16-0 every year.   But the reality you cant win until have a very good to great qb.

That is why I also stated maybe if Blake can convince himself playing from behind where we excels.  We can win more.   Now I believe we can win 6 or 7 games this year.  Much better coaching and better play calling.

But what people do not get because media does not talk about it.  Throwing less has zero to do with mental mistakes, mis reads, and inaccuracy.

And even though the line will be much better yet again, better running game and more chances to throw down field.   A much better back field and a higher chance of getting sacks or pressuring the qb.

It all rest on the qb.  Because the game has changed and eating up the clock running the ball.  Doesnt mean much when qbs now can score in under 2 minutes time and time again  (hypothetically)

So in order to win ten games.  Blake has to cut down on ints, inaccuracy, and poor decision making.  And throwing less won't solve a thing. If mentally no ones home.

And back to fournette.  By stat line could be in range because oline is built to pass block not run block.  See 2015   But with the new line changes.  It could be more balanced.  People dog me on fournette lack of hands.   But not me saying this.  Real announcers broadcasting the real LSU games.  And yet I am wrong again how?

I wish the old message board posters would come back.  Cause the newer ones base things on fantasy stats and what the general paid to media say. The older ones were real and tell it how it is.  And as much drama as Brooklyn gets.   He has been right alot of times going against grain as well.

And I still believe it was really bad passing on watson and he will make us regret that.  I don't care what media says. houston is a much better team then the bengals.  who HAS dalton who left TCU as its all-time leader in wins and many statistical passing categories.

And what did watson accomplish all this and more.   Regardless of what media says.   And now makes the afc south a really tough division to win in.
