Colin Kapernick Opts Out Of Contract And Becomes A Free Agent

#1

Hi, Jaguars fans! CK decides to opt out as a SF 49er, and will test the free agent market which begins on March 9, as reported by The NFL Network.

I hope the Jags have 0 interest in him. Kaepernick and his kneeling during the anthem would go over about as well as a fart in a spacesuit in Jacksonville.

Absolutely not. There is zero chance he comes to Jax.

Jacksonville has huge military pressence.

And his lack of respect. Would not go well with the city.

Oh, so he says he's a "stand-er" now.

Only because he's unemployed...

Who would have thought that disgracing yourself during the national anthem and wearing Castro shirts would turn off red blooded American football fans?! Never saw it coming.

I don't care that he stands now. He needs to apologize and condemn BLM.

Wait now he's not going to kneel because he's looking for a new contract.  Gotta love a man of principle. Money talks.

It has nothing to do with a contract. The kneeling has served its purpose, it doesnt make sense to do it anymore because its not going to spark any new conversation.

No the Navy could easily say. Due to Kaps lack of respect for the fallen. We will no longer do flyovers in Jax.

What purpose did it serve? If he was trying to raise awareness of "police brutality," that issue was already a hot button. He only threw gas on the fire.

Was the purpose to turn off millions of NFL fans and plummet ratings? I guess it did that pretty well.

You might call me a hick but I will never watch a down of Jaguar football in person or on TV while he is on the field, never. The good thing is that our ownership knows that too and they wouldn't.

Only loser in the history of American sports to kneel during the national anthem. Hopefully he gets the Ray Rice treatment.
