no thanks.
4. DE 35. TE/OL 68. RB/TE 110. QB/RB "A man with no sauce is lost.

But that same man can get lost in the sauce." Quote:no thanks.Worst case scenario: Garret and Thomas are taken and Allen has health concerns. Which DE are we taking at 4?
DL - Solomon Thomas
CB - Tre White (or Conley, or D. King, or Jackson - whichever top CB falls to 35 - I'd pick White if he's there) SS - Justin Evans (unless they sign Jefferson in FA - then I'd target best available RB or OL in the third) QB - Davis Webb TE - Jeremy Sprinkle RB - Elijah McGuire DE - Tashawn Bower - project edge rusher that our new position coach can groom
Quote:DL - Solomon ThomasWhere do I have to sign? ![]() The only thing I'd change is probably second round if Feeney or Lamp(difficult this one) or a quality olineman is there I'd take him. But the rest, perfect (also as QB I would be open to Webb or also Peterman at 4th). We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Worst case scenario: Garret and Thomas are taken and Allen has health concerns. Which DE are we taking at 4?If that happens then we will probably take Fournette. What we SHOULD do, probably, is draft Lattimore. "A man with no sauce is lost.

What we SHOULD do, probably, is draft Lattimore.I'd be fine with either, but still would rather have Adams. Although FA should make it a bit more clearer since we should in theory address SS or CB in some regard there. Best we can hope for is Thomas isn't a scheme fit for SFO and CHI goes some other route.
CB/RB > S
But I do believe we will be signing Bouye and a safety in FA. Really if Thomas isn't there then I fully expect the pick to be Fournette. Even if he is there, if they are stupid and haven't learned anything, the pick still may be Fournette. "A man with no sauce is lost.

We'll see.
"A man with no sauce is lost.

I'm guessing we sign a big name FA DB also making Lattimore unlikely at 4. So if Thomas is gone it'd probably be Adams or Fournette.
Who would the Niners draft at 2 other than Thomas? Garrett will be gone with the first pick. A DB is not going second overall. I don't think they will see RB as a need big enough to spend the 2nd overall pick on. There is no other DE that stands out other than Thomas for the second overall pick now the Allen has a medical red flag.

But that same man can get lost in the sauce." Quote:Thoughts are lack of addressing the OL, and too late to fill strong end and CB holes makes it a thumbs down for me. Sorry. I am assuming you had some free agent signings that had already occurred in your mind. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I think we'd worry more about Chicago. 49ers have gone DE in the first round the last two years and they operate out of a 3-4, which I'm not sure they'd use him for even if they did draft a DE there. Most people are mocking a QB there. If it's not a QB and not Thomas, I'd guess Lattimore or a safety?
1. Solomon Thomas
2. Tyus Bowser 3. Pat Elflein 4. John Johnson 5. Ahkello Witherspoon 6. Josh Dobbs 7. Khalid Abdullah
1) Thomas DE
2) Taylor Moton T/G 3) Desmond King CB 4) Josh Jones S 5) Michael Roberts TE 6) Larry Ogunbuni DT 7) Freddy Stevenson FB
Quote:I couldn't locate the old thread where everyone was posting theirs. Feel free to comment or to post your own. Basham will be long gone by round 6. Bucky hodges is not a true TE we already have a similar prospect in sterling. There are 5 or 6 TE's I'd take above hodges in that round We show less advertisements to registered users. New signature because HIGH SCORE found the periodic table offensive. Pathetic LOL
I have been away for a while, but with the combine winding down, I guess I can put in my two cents.
First though, I will offer my Free Agent selection prognostications: 1. A.J. Bouye - CB - Texans I think he will be the Jags No. 1 target and they will blow him away with upfront cash. 2. Calais Campbell - DE - Cardinals I think that Coughlin will want to sign a veteran DE to show the young kids the ropes. 3. Larry Warford - OG - Lions Jags will settle for Warford after Zeitner picks the Raiders. 4. Kyle Juszczyk - FB - Ravens Another Coughlin selection - A FB that can be an offensive weapon as well as a be a lead blocker. 5. Jarius Byrd - S - Saints Not exactly a SS, but a ballhawk who has something to prove with a one year prove it deal. 6. Dion Sims - TE - Dolphins Blocking TE that will be every bit as effective as Julius Thomas but at a bargain price. Now the Draft: Rd 1(4): Leonard Fournette - RB - LSU The big workhorse RB that will help Bortles become the QB he can be, by taking away all the pressure to win every game with his arm. Fournette will be the Jags Adrian Petersen RB and make the Jags offense look more like that of the Steelers - run heavy. This system works - see Carolina and what they did with a running game and a QB who is not that much better than Bortles. Rd 2(35): Tanoh Kpassagnon - DE - Villamnova Right now he is a top half Rd 2 player who if he gets by the Patriots in Rd 1, will be the BIG DE that Coughin loves to draft. Rd 3(68): Fabian Moreau - CB - UCLA Big CB, with elite speed and tough against both the run and pass in press coverage. Rd 4(110): Josh Jones - SS - N.C. State The Big SS who can run and cover, so much so, that he was a FS as a senior even though he is sized to be a SS. Big hitter, lots of tackles. Speed to run with TEs and RBs. Rd 5(149) Adam Shaheen - TE - Ashland Kind of a sleeper who has size and decent speed. Rd 6(189) Jessamen Dunker - OG - Tennessee State Small school OG who shined at Senior Bowl. Rd 7(225): Kareem Are - OG - FSU Plagued with concussion problems is why he falls. Can he play? Who knows. Quote:Who would the Niners draft at 2 other than Thomas? Garrett will be gone with the first pick. A DB is not going second overall. I don't think they will see RB as a need big enough to spend the 2nd overall pick on. There is no other DE that stands out other than Thomas for the second overall pick now the Allen has a medical red flag. I'm convinced the 49ers are drafting Kizer at #2.
