Jaguars expected to sign Calais Campbell

2008 Draft History   Blush

1st Round - Jags trade up to #8 and select DE Derrick Harvey (we gave up #26, and two 3rd rounders and a 4th to baltimore)

2nd Round - Pick #50 CARDS select DE Calais Campbell

2nd Round - Pick # 51 - Reskins select a WR

2nd Round - Pick #52 JAGS select DE Quentin Groves

.... wonder if we had Campbell higher than Groves on our draft board?  Had he fallen beyond the Cards would we have taken him instead of Groves?

I think is was TMD who repeatedly posted that we should take Campbell at pick #26 in Round 1

Quote:Question. He's 30 years old. Any history of major injuries? Why did the Cardinals let him go?
Had to pay Chandler Jones a big deal

Quote:Maybe they pick Adams to replace Gipson.

Adams is a SS. If they wanted to replace Gipson, they would take Hooker from Ohio State.

Fat and slow? A guy at 240 running a 4.5? Elliott is 225 and ran a 4.47. You cray.

Exactly .... if you didn't even know 4.5 is actually less than 4.51

What you need to do to assist in your comparison is add another decimal point to the 4.5 which now becomes 4.50.    This makes it easier to compare side by side.

Example:  4.5 = 4.50  which now equates to   4.50 < 4.51

It takes time but you'll get the hang of it.

Yeah seriously. I know Cook ran wild at FSU but Fournette is on another planet. He's big and can slap run through guys. Cook cant.

You said fat and slow. Yes technically he is slower but in real life you wouldn't even notice it.

Fournette is 97th percentile with his weight-to-speed ratio.
