The Jags have shocked me many times in the draft, but if they take a QB at 4 this year, i'll question my existence!

I would certainly expect to see the team bring in another QB.  They have their insurance policy, but there may be another move left in free agency as Coughlin looks to find another Brunell type get.

Or, maybe the light goes on for Bortles.  I'm not sold on the notion that he's a lost cause just yet.  He may have gotten a little lazy last year and started believing the hype.  Maybe that has humbled him enough to where he rededicates himself to actually reaching for his potential.  We'll see.

I dont see any FA's id spend money on, might have a few mid/later round QBs Id maybe think about depending on who else is around. Otherwise I wait til next years draft as it stands now.

I get the Bortles bashing, he was awful last season, but I think we need to give him a chance to redeem himself. Hes a decent player who had a terrible year, he showed major potential in his 2nd season. Im willing to give him a chance.

At the same time Brock had a slightly better season and he is gone from Houston.

And thats a fair point to bring across. Im not going sit here and defend Bortles and his play he deserves every bit of criticism thrown his way. In my opinion, I think Bortles has shown way more potential than Osweiler and though statistically, Bortles was awful, im not read to give up on him yet.

None.

They were both equally the worst in the league.

Maybe so but to say that Brock Osweiler was better than him is a lie.

Osweiller= $ 16 million

Romo= $ 14 million

Bortles= $ 3.25 million.

BB5 better than both and much cheaper.
