Jags Secondary Going to Be Terrible

Quote:Could be garbage or could be beastly. Dreamland with regards to free agents, jags always get the 2nd, 3rd tier, and castoffs free agents. We show less advertisements to registered users. Julius Thomas and Malik Jackson were the cream of the crop type and D.C. signed them. It's an extreme example to curb the other extreme example.
This DB class is so strong, I'm not worried about FA's
Quote:Dreamland with regards to free agents, jags always get the 2nd, 3rd tier, and castoffs free agents. Most Free agents are 2nd or 3rd tier players to begin with, that's why they are Free Agents and not on rosters
This DB draft class is so strong that the Jags could take whichever SS or CB that's atop their big board and available in the second and/or third round and they will likely have an instant upgrade at either or both positions.
It's not saying a whole lot but Cyprien had his best season by far last year. Will probably be more than serviceable on a solid team. Reggie Nelson part 2.
Gipson is already looking like a waste of money. He was coming off injury and in his first year in a new defense on a new team but the dude was absent. It will be a big deal whether or not we can resign Amukamara. I'd rather us not have to draft another CB in round 1 or 2.
No pain, no gain.

Church is not far superior...he may be an upgrade (slightly) but it's not like we let a non-starter go to sign a starting caliber Safety. However, Bouye and Ramsey now, wow! However, Bouye and Ramsey now, wow!Church not only gives us a safety that we won't have to completely hide in coverage but he also offers leadership and experience. In a sense he's twice the player Cyprien is. He may not be as great a run enforcer but the versatility and impact on winning he offers makes him far more valuable to us than Cyp ever was. I disagree, I'm not saying he's not better but to act like Cyp is horrible is just not factual. Cyp actually had a solid year. He actually played at NFL starter caliber. My only point is that we should have tempered optimism specifically in regards to Church. Should his play prove me wrong then I'll be ecstatic.
I want to throw out this theory and hopefully I get a response to it. Do you think we can bring back Prince at a discount rate and be a part of our dime package. I'm just saying we get him back we will have the best secondary in the NFL.

He can probably get better money elsewhere. And Colvin is not bad. Quote:I want to go out this Theory and hopefully I get a response to it. He also adds a great blitz and run-stopping dimension as a very good tackler. Quote:I disagree, I'm not saying he's not better but to act like Cyp is horrible is just not factual. Because of this it limited Gipson who always had to play 15 yards back from the LOS and we couldn't do any two safety looks because Cyprien would get abused in coverage. Hiding Cyp made him look like a really good run defender, but it hurt the overall aggressiveness and versatility of the secondary. With Church we can finally have a SS that can play deep and not have to worry about being a complete albatross. "A man with no sauce is lost.

The defense was not a Cover 2 defense. It was a single high Safety defense by design. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Most of these posts are hilarious. You guys shouting defensive signals as if you have an [BLEEP] clue. Bouye and Church are UPGRADES.....PERIORD. OVER AND OUT! Stop the crazy talk! Backfield improved. Go JAGS.

It''s true. A lot of the times a players stats are very misleading. They are a liability in one aspect of their game so the coaches keep them in a position to avoid their liability and thereby they ha email inflated stats from another aspect. I'm afraid Blake bortles firs this mold too.... Once teams figure out what his liability was they hammered him into a bad spot. He must grow a heck of a lot this off season for us to contend. Someone said. ... " a 10-7 team with a 3-13 qb is a 7-9 record at best".
Crazy to think that Ramsey is probably the best secondary player we have ever had and Bouye might be the 3rd or 4th best CB that we have ever had lol.
