Chad Reuter 4 Round Mock

Here are the Jags' picks: Leonard Fournette Dion Dawkins Caleb Brantley Adam Shaheen, TE, Ashland http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/a...id=2558144 Adam Shaheen- 6'6", 278 "Big, fast and athletic, Shaheen will immediately interest teams who are looking for size and traits. He's a poorer blocker than what might be expected for a player with his frame, but he's also a much more dangerous pass catching target. The jump in competition will be substantial and teams will expect him to become a more consistent blocker, but he's a pass catching tight end in a Y-tight end's body. Shaheen has starting potential with an ability to impact a passing game early in his career. -Lance Zierlein" We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I could live with this draft. I don't like the Brantley pick in the 3rd though. I think both of our guards are pretty hot garbage right now. Bowanko and Cann--blahh. What if we took nico siragusa in the 3rd? Or Antonio Garcia to start replacing Parnell at RT?
Calling Deshawn Watson a future bust since 3/19/17. If I eat crow, I will keep this in here and proclaim JackCity a genius.

Or are you just advocating taking multiple O-Linemen in the first four rounds? Quote:Dawkins in the second is a pretty good guard pick in this draft.Yup, I think if we are serious about running the ball and giving Bortles the best chance we can, it might take 2.

Quote:Yup, I think if we are serious about running the ball and giving Bortles the best chance we can, it might take 2. I agree, because, while we have a hole at LG, we also have a 32 year old LT. We need to not only plug the hole at LG immediately, but also, start developing some offensive linemen for the future like most good teams do. We show less advertisements to registered users. Shaheen is the only pick I like from this draft. Ew.
Howard Feeney Rivers Mixon Now we're cooking,
I like it other than the Brantley pick. We have enough interior O-Linemen. Gimme an OT or a CB in that spot.
I still believe the Jags are looking for more of a Pass Rush DE than a 3 Tech DT, thus I advocate Derek Rivers - DE - Youngstown State in Rd 3.
I can get onboard with Adam Sheehan in Rd 4, although I still believe that Jake Butt would be a better selection for the long term. I got a feeling that Dontarie Poe is going to sign with the Jags in the next few days. Quote:Shaheen is the only pick I like from this draft. Ew.What you think the chances are that feeney is there round 2? I say 35 % We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Sign me up, but I doubt that works out. Quote:Feeney and Mixon in the 2nd and 4th respectively? Have you struck a deal with the devil to get them to fall there?Just picking from what he had available in the mock. I don't think either will be there.
MJD's take on the running backs this year is interesting.

A couple of teams like Seattle and Atlanta really need interior help at the bottom of round 1. I see Lamp and Feeney going in those two spots. I believe Dion Dawkins will be the best OG/OT on the board when we pick in round 2. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...-in-top-10 I absolutely LOVE the Brantley pick in round three, but I really don't think he'll last that long. This is a solid all around draft that I could live with. We get a starting RB, a starting LG, a rotational NT and an eventual starting TE.

Quote:I like it other than the Brantley pick. We have enough interior O-Linemen. Gimme an OT or a CB in that spot. Why would you not like the Brantley pick? The guy is big, powerful and athletic... I can't help but compare him to Stroud. ... and in round three he'd be a total steal. ...plus being from Florida he's already used to the heat. Seriously I feel like Caleb would make an instant impact up front on our DL, and I see him actually starting ahead of Abry.

I don't understand where people come up with their ideas of who is and who isn't athletic. Brantley was a 9% SPARQ athlete. And he is only average size. Putting Rob Ryan in at DT would probably be as athletic.
Oh yeah and he has some of the worst effort concerns in the draft on top of that too.
Great mock would love it

And actually playing football counts too. Quote:Good thing SPARQ isn't all that matters. And actually playing football counts too. You're trying to suggest that someone who tests in the bottom 10th percentile can actually be a good athlete? Brantley is graded a 6.22 .... look at guys you want in round three and tell me how their nfl.com grade compares.
