He is very similar to Yeldon imo. A little more speed but not a homerun threat. I know you guys are down on yeldon but he's pretty talented

Mixon plays a good amount faster.

 

 

You know, I got the same impression watching Mixon.

 

I'm not as down on Yeldon as most around here are, but I think Mixon plays a bit faster.   He also gets his pad level lower when hitting a crease. 

He's quicker to get north and south than Yeldon - and I think that's a weakness in Yeldon's game.  He waits too long for a gaping hole sometimes instead of hitting the small crease with conviction.

Actually everyone has said that... that is, Mixon is a little quicker than Yeldon. It's like he's just quick enough where Yeldon might be just a hair too slow, but they're not that far off from each other as runners.

I personally think he would do way better. I guess we will find our. Yeldons longest run of the entire year was like 15 yards. Even when there was some room he couldn't make anything happen. Even Corey Grant with the same blocking had a much better game than Yeldon had in 2years.

I mean, Yeldon and Mixon are comparable in that they are both all around skilled...but that's kinda where it ends. Yeldon is just an average athlete who is far too often on the wrong side of the patience/hesitant tightrope. Mixon is more than just a bit better of an athlete.
