Marshon Lattimore to visit too.

Still plenty of time of course but no Soloman Thomas so far, could be a guy the NFL has much lower than people think.

That's something I've been wondering myself. I've read a few articles and seen a few boards that see him as a mid rounder.

He might just be getting hyped up erroneously.

I prefer Jon Allen at 4 anyway, but Thomas is a guy I would have been ok with.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes was among the prospects who visited the #Jaguars today, per league source.

Lol no. I'm sure he's in consideration for our second round pick.

I've been studying team visits and learning rather quickly that teams don't even bother for the most part bringing in their potential first round picks. It's mainly to get a look at later round picks especially if they have an issue like being raw or having low motor, etc. Teams want to confirm or debunk rumors. In other words, Solomon Thomas is totally in play as the Jaguars probably already know all there is to know about him. As for private interviews, they only get 30.

Private workouts are really the only interactions I pay attention to. They're a big precursor to what our first few picks will be.

Walters is compiling a list of team visists for every team...

http://walterfootball.com/prospectMeetings/byteam

Change the last word "team" to "prospect" and you can view the list of teams that each prospect have visited.

Unfortunately they can only go by published reports so the list is rather incomplete. For instance, many teams are listed with players they talked to at the combine, but they don't list the Jaguars as having talked to any players at the combine. Among players the Jaguars have gone out to their Pro Day for a visit, they only list two...

 • FS David Jones, Richmond

 • ILB Eric Wilson, Cincinnati

Again, you know they've gone to more than only two Pro Days. They list one players as having met with the Jaguars during the East-West Shrine Game...

 • OLB Javancy Jones, Jacksonville State

And one player they met with at the Senior Bowl...

 • TE Evan Engram, Ole Miss

They list one players coming in as a local visit...

 • WR Ahmad Fulwood, Florida

Four players came in for a private workout (not sure if these count among the 30 private visits)...

 • WR Rodney Adams, South Florida

 • DE Terrell Basham, Ohio

 • OT Julie'N Davenport,

 • C Joe Scelfo, NC State

Finally, they show 13 players brought in for an official private visit...

 • S Jamal Adams, LSU

 • DT Jonathan Allen, Alabama

 • RB Dalvin Cook, Florida State

 • ILB Reuben Foster, Alabama

 • RB Leonard Fornette, LSU

 • DE Myles Garrett, Texas A&M

 • G Avery Gennesy, Texas A&M

 • FS Malik Hooker, Ohio State

 • TE OJ Howard, Alabama

 • QB Patrick Mahomes, Texas Tech

 • RB Joe Mixon, Oklahoma

 • OT Cam Robinson, Alabama

 • QB Deshaun Watson, Clemson

This is only half the actual list... we may not even discover the other half.

Interesting there's so many players the Gulf states... Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida

On the bright side, these guys are all probably accustomed to humidity.

I think the jags are starting to tip their hand a bit with these 2. I feel like they might go best available defensive player with their first bc that's where the value will be. I still feel tom is in love with fournette.

@rapsheet Late visits are always interesting. This week, the #Jaguars & #Broncos brought in #Vandy LB Zach Cunningham for a visit before the deadline

Anybody know of him?

If I were a betting man, I'd bet the farm that this is a Tony Khan move after reading a PFF article.

https://www.profootballfocus.com/college...-heard-of/

From what I see he's getting attention for his productivity and versatility, probably expected to play WLB.

I've seen him given a second round grade. I don't see him being our pick that high in the second, unless they see something they like enough to get back into the second later.

But would they really want to do that for a WLB when we have Telvin?

Guess they use or lose the visits.
