If the draft falls this way. Who now is the pick?

I have been seeing a bunch of rumors.  So hypothetical. If the draft started like this.  Who then should we pick?  Or should we trade down?

1,Cleveland- Garrett

2. 49ers- Fournette

3. Chicago- Watson

4. Jaguars?

In this scenario.  A team could come up for Thomas, A safety, DT, or to grab a qb.  To jump over Jets.

I think at this point I'm dead set on fournette and shifting to a power running team and drafting a QB and an olineman in rounds 2 and 3 not necessarily in that order. We have a good young defense and if we can control the clock a bit more and keep our D fresh I believe we can win a lot more games.

If we couldn't trade back I'm taking one of Howard, Lattimore, Adams, Hooker or McCaffrey.

While it doesn't change the situation here all that much, should the Bears go qb at #3 it will either be for Trubisky or Kizer. Trubisky is the top early pick in this draft, but Kizer is a prospect the Bears have intensely scouted and are clearly interested in.

So, in this scenario...

  1. Garrett

  2. Fournette

  3. Trubisky

  4. ?

The only player I can see teams possibly trading up for is Solomon Thomas. Maybe the Bengal would bite.

Most likely the Jaguars don't get the value in a trade down that their looking for and have to make the pick. Why not take Solomon Thomas?

THE Bears have shown zero interest in Mitch.  Due to lack of experience.

They haven't shown any interest in Watson either. If you disagree, then you'll have to provide a link to prove it. From what I'm looking at, they've only shown interest in Kizer and Kaaya.

99.999999% chance the bears don't take a QB at 3 after signing Glennon to that contract.

Trade down if not best available player Jamal Adams. Dude can play everything in the back-in

I stand corrected on Watson as the Bears recently did bring him in for a complete workout. The thing is, he basically choked putting that weak, erratic arm of his on display. After that workout, there's zero chance Watson is drafted in the top five.
