Here's a fun pre draft game:

Who Would Gene Smith Draft?

Rules are:

1. Has to be with out #4 pick

2. Anyone is fair game

I'll start:

With the 4th overall pick, the Jaguars select:

Robert Tonyan, TE, Indiana State.

Gene loves a great blocker and this guy shows some real potential there. Plus being a college QB and WR... Man, can risk letting that potential slip.

Either way he'd blow the pick.

Exept I disagree with you on Watson.  But yet the draft is to good.  To trade up.

Yeah, it would be tough for us to trade up to the bottom of the first for Watson.  We scouted him anyway.  Have to be prepared.

Not that we need another name as Watson fits the bill, but just to throw out a different name I'll say...

Why though? Cause of the combine radar gun?  Least my fournette debate has facts.  Yours is a stupid test and a radar gun.

He doesn't belong anywhere near the early part of round one... that's why.

As for his arm, the combine radar gun only demonstrated just how weak his arm is. His game tape combined with his workouts demonstrate that his arm is totally erratic making it sink in that the guy probably couldn't hit the broadside of a barn... well, maybe he could hit the broadside, but no chance is he throwing it through a barnyard window. Mike Homgren was once asked what he looks for in a QB, and he responded, "it's all about the arm." I don't care how much he runs around... Watson does not have an NFL arm.

He'd trade up to #2 for Watson. We'd lose our second and fourth round pick and Myles Garrett would still be on the board at 3.

Honestly, if I were the GM I'd pick McCaffery.
