I'd rather have traded down, but hopefully this pans out. Wonder if we'll trade back into the 1st if a guy falls far enough.

Quote:We can only win now with a QB who doesn't lose the game at a minimum. We have a defense and a RB. Build the O-Line and find a QB who doesn't throw the game away, literally. Hater ![]() Quote:I realize you don't follow the Jags, but they signed a FB in the offseason, and Alualu is gone.Pirk You sir have the post of the night!!! Quote:Hmmm so when do the he's a bust threads start? As soon as he doesn't average at least 1,000 rushing yards per season.
Quote:Caldwell sounds like this or more of a Coughlin pick then a Caldwell pick.finally

Quote:Now we finally have an identity on offense that isnt blake pick 6s.. hand the ball to this man.. go talk to cutler, look at qbs in round 2.. or make sure blake only throws 20 times a game.. run the ball and use our top notch on paper Defense.. this division is winnable Cutler should be pretty easy to talk to, being nobody wants him. Great idea!! Quote:Cutler should be pretty easy to talk to, being nobody wants him. Great idea!!Yup, lets try and replace one QB with decision making issues, with another QB with decision making issues.
This is like a kick in the nuts by a steel boot. The jags continue their aggressive pursuit of mediocrity.
The Jaguars drafted the most talented player in this years draft. The play action pass is alive again in Jacksonville. Thank you Tom Coughlin.
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023. If he doesn't average at least 1000 yards he is a Huge bust. Drafting a RB that high better mean he averages more than that. 1000 yards over the course of a 16 game season is only 62.5 yards a game. For a top five draft pick, he must do more than that. And do it for a long time. One of these years.............
I think that this will be a good thing. Blake has some good plays out of the playaction.

If his career isn't very similar to Adrian Peterson's career in terms of on field production, then he'll be a bust.
Wasn't my top pick but I ain't mad about watching a talent like Fournette running through tacks and clots. Just make sure we sort out that line

So a few moments later y'all cool with us having 4net and Houston having Watson?
Quote:So a few moments later y'all cool with us having 4net and Houston having Watson?1 read Watson? Yes, I'm happy they took 1 read Watson.
Quote:As soon as he doesn't average at least 1,000 rushing yards per season. You're giving too much credit to the board. The first time he gets stopped for a loss he's a bust. So, I take it you weren't being honest earlier when you said you would take folks word on this one? Or is it by asking questions and taking no position you're simply posturing for however it works out in the end?

Quote:He better be the next Adrian Peterson... Right. If he puts up 80% of AD's career, a total failure.... come on. Quote:Right. If he puts up 80% of AD's career, a total failure.... come on.The guy was just drafted 4th overall.. There's proof all over the NFL that you don't need to draft a RB in the top 5, or 10, or even first round to find great success. I don't see how it's a stretch by any means, to say that Fournette's career better be very similar to AD's (on field production of course), or he'll be considered a failure of a draft pick. |
