I can't help but have this exact same feeling but I don't really watch college football like I did 10 years ago.  I don't know many players in the draft so it is hard for me to play armchair GM this time of year.

I guess I'm way more optimistic than most around here but I can't help but be excited about this pick.  His running style is fun to watch and it would be great to have a rb that can rush for more than 100yd a game again.  I'm hoping we can get some help on that OL now.

Quote:Zero concern.

So, I take it you weren't being honest earlier when you said you would take folks word on this one?

Or is it by asking questions and taking no position you're simply posturing for however it works out in the end?

No posturing here. I'm just not a fan of RB at 4. I think I made that very clear in the posts you are referring to. I'm gonna support the guy cause I'm a jags fan. However after watching the tinhorns go Watson, I'm wondering if people still like going RB instead of QB or DE.

You don't have to take this too serious. We are just talking football here. That's all.

His running style is very fun to watch, but his running style also opens him up to more injuries.

You have to give him 25 carries a game, but it's a cache 22 because he's already coming into the league with a short list of injuries over the past couple years.

I can agree with that. I will admit I wasn't as into the draft this year. I know the main players out there but not as in depth as I usually do. My big thing was just RB at 4 in a passing league. But hey it is what it is. I don't like the pick but I didn't like the Gabbert pick and I'm sure I won't like others either. Doesn't mean I won't still get behind them and root for them.

I feel like the people hating on the pick don't know much about our offense or team in general or are butt hurt FSU/Gator fans? You guys going to question Tom Coughlin of all things? Give me a break.

No pain, no gain.

How about tell us why it's a good pick instead of "y'all don't know football"

Tom Coughlin did draft RJ Soward

look at stats on fournette in the shotgun and stats with blake's wins with a rushing offense over 150 yards.  Blake has only won 4 games total.   This is not out of the blue hate.  It is based on our current team and fournette under ncaa average in that formation.  It is not good.  The koolaid will not drink the shades will not wear.  Because after losing by 11 to Patriots we can't go over 500.  Almost 10 years of straight losing.

stupid stupid stupid

1. you don't draft RBs this high, period, EVER

2. MASSIVE injury concerns, he can't stay on the field

3. he played at LSU, aka he has a 150,000 miles on his wheels already in the SEC

just stupid.. jaguar is what jaguar does

Bro, one of his highlights where he took it 80 yards and scored, was from the shotgun.

I'd have rather seen the Jags trade down and pick up "some" picks - even if they don't recoup the full value of the number 4 pick.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dalvin Cook is available at the Jags spot in the 2nd round.  Could have picked up Jonathan Allen and Cook and still pick up some more picks for the O-line.

I'm always hoping for the best, but damn - this just doesn't have a great feel to it.

I don't remember who it was against but it was out of shotgun. So stop with this shotgun bull.

I pointed out an 80 yard run and then you ask against who. So I'll be right back so you can relax.

Caldwell said there was no offers coming, so no trade back possible. Also, there's a reason why Allen fell so far; but also we don't need another DT when we have other higher needs. And cook is nowhere near Fournette, another reason why he's still available. Now we need to fill our O-line with a few good ones (come on Lamp!!) and we will have a great draft!
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

Against a fill in team he did.  But thats cool. We have a fullback.  So that should help. Jones helped spring mojo.
