I have no problem with drafting guys with character issues with Coughlin & Marrone in town.

You just resigned 2 wide receivers this year. You also have rashard Greene going into his 3rd year.

I don't get it. Who's getting cut for Westbrook?

Rashard Greene is god awful and we just drafted his replacement who has starting WR potential. I love this pick.

I can only think Persona when someone mentions the Velvet Room.  Along with a certain long nosed gentleman and his assistant.

Quote:Has to be BAP.    Maybe a fallback plan for when either Lee or A. Rob bails next season.

Sorry, friend.  He was not BAP.  If they think he is, then the whole scouting department needs fired.

Dobbs and Peterman were still on the board.

Johnson, Banner, Siragusa, Asiata were all still on the board.

Dude is small. He may be good, but I still think you need more O linemen. Its not fixed until you see its fixed. I hope we come back to OG in the 5th if there are any decent ones left.

Dede is a stud. Still baffled by the lack of O-line though, but super happy about Dede.

Quote:Really questionable draft. Gotta hope TC knows what he is doing.

To be fair, our supposed "good drafts" the past few years have landed us squat.

I won't disagree, I think not picking either Johnson or Petermen is a huge mistake, but since WR is arguably our strongest position on the roster, you have to "assume' that TC and Caldwell thought he was the BAP.

And yes - some strange picks so far, our scouting department has got to be the worst in the NFL.

None of them had a second round grade.  Westbrook did.

#6 overall WR on NFL.com (tied at #4 with two others)

Graded rounds higher than where he was picked? Check.

Drafted despite off field concerns? Check.

Drafted at a position that's already deep? Check.

Yeah, this is a crystal clear example of drafting BAP.

listening to the media call, he sounds like an OK guy. Still a young man I think with the guys we have in the building he will be OK.
