No one should have wanted him for FS. He fits better at SS. Parker, Moore, or draft.

I'm honestly not the hugest fan of getting a FS thru the draft. I think we need a veteran to help pair with Cyp

Just spoke to Anquan Boldin. He said Torrey Smith is going to the #49ers as a done deal. Said he helped with recruiting.

The day has finally arrived. Now we only have to wait a few more hours before Jeremy Parnell, Jared Odrick, and Julius Thomas officially become Jaguars.

At least that is how it looks right now, based on this article: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...le-jaguars

Add Keenan Lewis and these are the only 4 options for me too I believe.

The #Cowboys exec Stephen Jones and DeMarco Murray’s agent spoke last night, as they’ve tried a final push to sign him. We shall see.

I remember on Saturday Ryan O said we were talking to 2 DE's or so, wonder if it was Hughes and Hardy and we hear more about Hardy today

Technically Odrick is a DE

Well if Cowboys and Murray spoke last night and he pulled all his Cowboy pic and comments down last night, might be good sign he's gone

Meanwhile there are no mentions of the Dallas Cowboys on DeMarco Murray's Twitter account.

Quote:The running back scrubbed his Twitter account of any mentions of the Dallas Cowboys, leading to the speculation that the free-agent-to-be is unhappy with the team or plans on signing elsewhere when the market opens at 4 p.m. ET.

This report makes me think maybe Stephen Jones did not like what he heard from Murray's agent.

We basically need to battle it out with raiders between moore and Ron Parker
I would rather Branch for 1 year then paying Parker what he wants, he's not worth it to me

he's stupid if he doesn't entertain other offers. the Jaguars would probably pay him twice as much. the Cowboys have no cap space. How can they possibly pay him what he's worth on the market?

The Arizona Cardinals aren't interested in Demarco Murray, it should come down to the Jags & Cowboys.

Well I mean a vet like that on a 1 year deal, Branch already signed, signing Parker long term could end in disappointment you dont wanna sign a guy to huge money just because your desperate

Tyron Smith restructured his contract today to free up space. Also, didn't the Eagles clearing 31 million in cap space in one day last week (or the Saints giving Byrd the largest FA deal last year despite already being over the cap) show you how little no cap space means? If the Cowboys really want him the salary cap won't be the hindrance, they will find a way to make room. The hope is that they really don't prioritize him that much.
