Steelers cut Blount

(This post was last modified: 11-18-2014, 03:07 PM by Eye of the Storm.)

Cut this morning after last nights game. Not really surprising considering he's had a history of bad behavior dating back to his days at Oregon. So the question is: who is gonna pick this head case up?

Maybe Oakland. Where careers die.

I think Jacksonville is where careers are born. Players and coaches leave here to do well at other places.

Except for C.J. Mosley, Derrick Cox, Tiquan Underwood, Mike Thomas, James Stewart...you get the point. It happens to every team we're not exclusive to it.

Blount is another Gerhart type.. we already have Gerhart and he isn't a head case. I hope we aren't the ones. Same with Tate. He has lost explosiveness and he can be cancerous too.

I could see Denver or Indy picking up Blount or Tate. Definitely more supply than demand at that position.

I don't think Denver is in the market like people think they are. Hillman should be back next week or the week after, Ball isn't out for the season, CJ Anderson has done fairly well and they have guys like Juwan Thompson and Kapri Bibbs (practice squad) on the roster. I'm just not sure they are looking for these types of cancers but if they are looking to add one of them, Tate would be my guess.

LeGarrete Blount is an idiot, when you're a marginal talent at the RB position; you're not in the greatest position (leverage wise) to pout about your role, what a clown.

I think we need to get that Blount.

Giants make sense for Blount.

Would that make a Giant Blount?

The Steelers players weighed in on Blount's departure and they seem to be happy about it. He really was a locker room cancer.

The fact that one of the Pouncey twins is washing their hands of him tells me he's a special kind of Richard Cranium.

According to the Patriots you can find guys who can get you 200 yards off a practice squad.
