The problem has never been about the message or the philosophy. It was the way Gus executed it (and the lack of accountability). As i've tried to debate many times in the past, there are very many successful people in businesses that use the same philosophy. There's so much hate for Gus, that even when Tom himself talks about the very same thing, people gloss over it because they want to focus on what only confirms their point.
