Pessimistic Jaguar Fan. Is it normal?

#1

I got to say as of the last few years the Jaguars have made me as a fan very pessimistic towards this team.  Games we should win we lose and when we are up at halftime, while happy the other part of my brain is just waiting for the Jaguars to blow the lead.  This happened last weekend in Philly.  While I was happy the team was up 17-0 the other half of me was thinking we are going to find a way to lose the game.  How many of you feel this same way?

I love the Jags and have been a fan since '93 when the team was announced but lately I have 0 faith in them to win a game.  How many feel this same way?

I feel the same way at times. Even with the lead last week I had little faith in the win.

But you know what? Today is a new day. They may lose, hope not. But, no doubt things are looking up for the team. Glad I'm here to watch it all come together

Just as fans of good teams expect them to win (I suspect every Patriots fan expects at least 10 wins a year) fans of bad teams expect them to lose.

The Jaguars have been bad for some time, so until they start winning I'll expect them to lose. Hope they surprise me.

When is the last time the Jags were favored? Where they favorites in last year's home opener vs. the Chiefs?

We've been beaten for many years as fans. Sadly. Even last week with our lead in Philly at the half, who can honestly say they were still plenty worried and not surprised at the outcome.

We weren't favored.

Really? The Chiefs were bad in 2012 and the Jags were at home so ...

Then I wonder when the last time was. As of right now I don't see the Jags favored in any game this year. I hope that changes after today's game.

We weren't supposed to when last week.  It would have been a big upset.  Youngest team in the AFC in year 2 of  a massive rebuild. Things will get better.

I think it's a great time to be a Jags fan.
