Thats pretty lame that on the "Things to Do" segment of the website, it lists "Jacksonville Jaguars football"....and the accompanying picture is of 2 teams, neither of which are the Jaguars

Is that a NFL rights thing? I mean they couldn't even use a snapshot of an actual Jags game to advertise for Jags football???

heres the link:

They would have had to pay for the rights to have a picture of NFL products on their website.  Its like when people say "the big game" instead of the Superbowl.

TMD, you scoping hotels for a visit?  I got married there.  It is a really nice place.

Copyright issues.  As has already been pointed out, they'd have to pay to use Jaguar images.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Yeah, I'm doing the research in case I can finally make it down there to a game this year.

A few people have suggested this hotel/ and staying in this area and commuting to the game, rather than staying close to the stadium.

Totally agree.  Might as well enjoy the beach while you're here too.  Good luck picking a place and keep us posted as to what you decide on.

If you do make it down here for a weekend shoot me a PM TMD. I wouldn't mind hanging with you at Sneakers for a couple of cold ones.

Big sportsbar in Jax Beach a block off the water.  It's only a couple miles from One Ocean.

Forget downtown, you want to stay at the beach.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.
