Take a couple of hours and watch it. It's a classic.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I'd say it's a must.

I also agree with those on here who commented on Quint. Awesome character.

Not sure why, but I really, really love the part where they are drinking below the deck and they start singing "Show me the way to go home". I always think of this song when I hear about or think of Jaws.

I like when they're comparing scars.

"I've got the creme de la creme. Right there. Hold on. Yeah, you see that?"

"You're wearing a sweater."

"Right there. Mary Ellen Moffit. She broke my heart."

Well, yeah, I think there are 2 greater characters (Quint and Brody) in the same movie.

But I might see where you're going with this.  Every time I see someone stretch the truth or cover something up, embellish facts to suit agenda, I say "Woah, Jaws mayor moment".

The shark scenes were great and all, as well as the suspense of what you don't see.  The opening scene where the shark first shows up, unseen, is more terrifying than the gory bits.

Still one of my favorite films of all time.

Let's not forget his jacket.  Now THAT was a heck of a nice blazer he had there.
