Yes of course, if true.

Hopefully Cleveland can't match. That gives us 2 Pro Bowelers and a potential 3rd. Time for the G-Train to run loose.

Yeah, I believe him and Matthew Stafford were like the last of the mohicans..

I'm just trying to stay grounded.....I don't want to be let down by not being prepared for the Browns to match.

Whoa, that's huge.

There is always the possibility the Browns dint want to hold onto someone who didn't want to be there. It is not good for a locker room. As for Haslam, of course he had to say they want Mack, they are already on the hook for 11 mil.

Whoa, that's huge.

Add to that, this:

The deal will be designed to make it as difficult as possible for the Browns to match, sources told ESPN. If the Browns do not match, they will not receive any compensation for Mack, regarded by many as the NFL's premier center.

The deal will make Mack the NFL's highest-paid center by a wide margin, according to sources. Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil's contract averages about $8.2 million per year.

Sources close to Mack also say he wants to play this contract in Jacksonville, not Cleveland, which opted not to give him the long-term deal he wanted nor the franchise tag some thought he deserved.

But at this point, there is the framework of an agreement between Mack and the Jaguars on an offer sheet that still is being drawn up. The Jaguars and Mack have spent the better part of the past 48 hours crafting the deal, making it as unpalatable as possible for Cleveland to match.

LOL! You better just quit before you dig an even bigger hole for yourself. Haden hasn' signed an extension yet and is entering the final year of his rookie deal. Gordon's entering his 3rd season after being a 2nd round pick in the supplemental draft. You obviously have no idea what you're talkling about.

So we could possibly steal Mack from the browns AND we pick right before them in the 1st round???? I love it!

YES PLEASE.

Just in case I haven't said that enough times to make it perfectly clear.

Giving the Browns players the option to leave may not be a good idea.. I'm sure there's a bunch of them right now that are literally wishing for their contracts to be up so they can jail break on outta there..

His cap hit for 2014 is $8.9 million and he's on the old CBA rookie scale but he hasn't signed an extension for $50 million like you claimed. They'll have to ante up a lot of dough to extend him which helps the Jags' case to get Mack.

Gordon's still making peanuts.

It'll be interesting to watch this play out. In the end, I think Mack's desire to get out of Cleveland coupled with the structure of the deal itself will force Cleveland into a position where they won't match it.

It's nice to see this front office being prudently aggressive here. If they land Mack, it makes an already interesting draft even more so.

BTW, I read somewhere that Madk was extremely impressed with the Jags, and that included the head coach in the equation. People scoffed at the notion that Bradley is a guy who can help close the deal on player acquisitions. It's becoming more and more clear he's a big factor in putting the Jags back on the map in the eyes of players.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I rolled on the floor laughing, With all those missed reads in the pocket Manziel had to improvise. If he had just stuck to the play book (or just be Teddy Bridgewater) A&M would have been in the National Title hunt late

Everyone calm down, Cleveland can match the offer so don't jump the gun
