In honor of TMD:

Winger's Seventeen

Edit:  I don't know what's more embarrassing: Hair bands or lame 80s pop.  I do know that I turned the volume down on that last link so no one would hear.

Had I not already heard (and thoroughly enjoyed) The Blood Brothers when I was still relatively young, I may loathe Neon Blonde today -- but, I did; so, I don't.

I think about 60% of the Deftones songs qualify LOL.

SInce when are the Deftones "music to be ashamed of liking"??

Dude.... let me ask you something.... do you think that Winger (particularly in that song) aren't any good? If your answer is yes, I'll just have to dismiss you as another one who pretty much has no clue about what he's talking about. You may think Kip Wnger himself is lame (fair), but even he was a better vocalist than most that were fronting bands at that time. Metallica couldn't play some of the stuff Winger did, no - not because they didn't want to, because they simply weren't as talented. Reb Beach of Winger is a better guitar player than both Metallica players put together. I'd put him right up there with George Lynch and Dimebag Darrell.

All that time to think, and you still don't understand how individual tastes work.

rollerjag - 2112 made a persnickety remark regarding Winger above, I simply asked him to expound about his comment. I was awaiting a response from him.

I agree that we all have different tastes. THats fine. No one taste is really better than another. THats why I asked him to further explain himself. I wasn't sure if it was a "taste" thing or he was trying to imply with his snarky comment that said band was "talentless", and if that was indeed the case, he would indeed be "wrong" because at that point its not a question of "taste" anymore its a question of understanding musical ability.
