Say we get Alex Mack and Michael Bennett.. That would leave QB so who will that be? we just don't know I can't wait to see what this new regime does.. They seem to be not playing around.. Anyways with the QB situation I think it'll be smarter to grab a experienced QB.. There just isn't a QB worth taking with the 3rd pick.. Say we get Sanchez then we go get say Sammy Watkins.. Now all of a sudden we have Sanchez Blackmon Shorts III Watkins Sanders Brown Lewis Maybe MJD and Robinson wow.. Back to free agency we have lots of money say like only 50 plus million.. Alex Mack Michael Bennett could be heavily targeted by Jaguars.. we should also throw in a extra RB to backup MJD say like Ben Tate or Knowshon Moreno.. He still has a lot left in the tank he just needs a breather by a good backup RB.. This team hasn't had a Good backup RB since the double headed monster days of Good 'ol' Fred Taylor and MJD (2007).

If we are going to get a free agent QB, the best one will be Vick. He might even get us to the playoffs, but definitely not further, and prob 7-9 to 9-7 range. I would enjoy watching him play, but he will prob miss 2-3 games cause of injury. Anyway, the Sanchize won't bounce back IMO. We would probably be better off with Tebow than him.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

Shockingly, Henne may be the best FA QB

Why do we need Sanchez? We are already the most dysfunctional offense in the league.

I don't think it's a very popular opinion but I'd like to see Vick here too.  Draft a QB high and let him sit behind Vick for 2 years...well...until Vick gets hurt.

The thought of any of these QBs manning the helm for this team does bad things to my stomach.

Only a chump boos the home team!

The free agent QB market this year is bad. If you want a starting caliber QB, with franchise level upside, you will find the guy in the draft. A vet mentor and backup would be welcome.

Agreed.

He's the perfect guy to have around as a bridge to the new QB and/or a backup.

I hope you guys aren't getting your hopes up for the Jags to sign Mack and/or Bennett.

Mack has made it seem pretty obvious that he wants to stay in Cleveland. ESPN Cleveland at least says he has talked like that in interviews.

I hope, for the first time in a while, the Jaguars are aggressive in free agency and can find a dominant player or two.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

We were pretty aggressive two years ago..and we have regressed since then. You dont compete with a team built via FA. This is why Caldwell constantly claiming we will build through the draft
