Browns hire Mike Pettine

Well..  that was anti-climatic.  Damien Woody who played for the Jets when he was there described him as "just a guy."  The Factory of Sadness is still a muddled, unstable mess.  Sorry Browns fans.

Only a chump boos the home team!

I wouldn't be to happy if I were a Browns fan right now.  But who was left for them to pick up?  Nobody wanted the job.  It's kind of a Mularky-esque move.  THey'll probably be a 3rd new Head coach in Cleavland.

I hope I'm wrong.  I hope he turns them around.

They never should've fired Chud. Now they have no Norv Turner and an even cloudier future with another unproven coach and who knows what at OC and DC. Good luck with that. At least they have some talent on the field on which to build.

If they fire him after a year, who the heck is going to want the job there?

Not a terrible choice.  Buffalo went from 22nd in yards allowed to 10th.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Haha...Lombardi is a Gene Smith clone. Smarter than everyone in the room...wow!

looks like they have to stick with him at least a couple of years, otherwise you're right who would take a job with a franchise that cuts bait so quick.
