Quote:It's funny. And it isn't just Jaguars fans either. He's the red headed stepchild of the NFL.

And I don't get it.

Look at his career:

He's made the playoffs every year.

His stats have improved every year.

I'd take the Andy Dalton 2.0 here in a second.

His TD numbers are nice.....but

0-2 in the playoffs.

Also, his YPA sucks for the numbers he has, as well as the weapons he has. Only over 7 once in 3 seasons, and barely at that. (7.2)

The "game manager" label is accurate.

Three trips to the playoffs in three years. He and the team have improved each year.

He's third in the NFL in TD passes.

But...yeah...game manager.

With the weapons he has, it would be a crime to not have the TD totals he has.

Given the other things I mentioned, I absolutely see him as a game manager. He could be one and done again this season.

Not saying I wouldn't rather have him over Henne, but theres a LOT of QB in this league that I'd take over Dalton.

Put Dalton on this team and he'd look just like Gabbert and Henne.

Don't know if I'd go quite that far. But he wouldn't make much of a difference wins wise. His TD numbers would be vastly down and his YPA would be in the mid 6's.

He's the poster child for "game manager".

Look how he has played in the playoffs against the texans. That's what he looks like when the guys around him aren't winning.

The texans were fortunate to draw the bengals twice because they were both teams without top tier QBs so the texans could win those games and only those games. Just about any other opponent would have knocked them out of the playoffs.

Well he gets another chance to prove himself again because they made the playoffs again. This time they get a home game.

Because you know. I guess it's those same skills you used in scouting Blaine Gabbert.

The sun's not yellow, it's chicken.

Andrew Luck is a game manager ranked 29th in ypa...

So let's hear the spin...

spin? What offensive weapons does he have?? He had a 34 y/o Wayne prior to his season ending injury, now he has a midget on the outside in TY Hilton and nothing else. No running game to help keep defenses honest, nothing.
