If we keep winning end up drafting in somewhere 7-12 what do you guys think about Mosley in the 1st. I think if we're drafting this far back it's not a given we go QB in the 1st. That's assuming Barr and Clowney are gone at this point of course.

I'd rather take Stephon Tuitt. He'd be perfect for Alu Alu's spot and could rush from the inside on passing downs when we switch to two LEOs.

I think Florida State has a pair of linebackers that pro scouts like and should be in any discussion about linebackers. ILB Christian Jones and OLB Telvin Smith are both quality football players easing their way up into the first round next year.

 

If you watched the game between Florida and Florida State, commentator Brian Griese gave high praise to FSU DB Lamarcus Joyner. Brian played at Michigan along side Charles Woodson, probably the best NFL CB since Rod Woodson (no relation), and he had no reservation comparing Joyner to former team mate Charles Woodson.

 

I like C.J. Mosley. Was hoping he would stay atop his peers at LB. Alias Smith and Jones are right there with him.

 

I have no idea what criteria the Gene Smith scouting department still inside the Jaguars' organization grades by, but they are really bad at what they do.
