He can really take off!

He has good hands, and good burst of speed but he is small in size and can be man handled.  Did you see where he had lost yards as they basically tried to pick him up and carry him backwards?

He's an assest though for deep pass plays.  If we had a Qb that could throw more than 20 yards & be accurate or an Oline that would allow that kind of time.

Ace is going to be a better receiver than punt returner.   He has great hands.

I think he'll be much better next year.   Most players make the biggest improvement between their first and second year.   Cecil Shorts, for example.

wes welker isn't big either, and a couple season in he could bulk up a bit to be that quick guy over the middle that's difficult to cover from the slot. as long as he's going north and south in some sort of direction he should be okay.

He didnt lose any yards at all. Yes he was carried backwards but his forward progress cant be erased unless he takes the steps himself which he didnt. As for the deep pass plays thats the thing he would be weakest at.

His biggest thing on deep plays would be running the underneath route to open up deep space for Blackmon and Shorts. They actually have had him do this multiple times in the season.

Nah Tavon is faster and much faster but they both have scary explosion and change of direction ability. Tavon does have the higher top end speed though.

Pretty much this.

Dude is fast, I watched the cornerback, don't know his name, take about 3 long strides and Ace just kicked it up a gear and pulled away. It was great seeing the body language of defeat wash over the would be tackler.

So where has he been? Don't know, it was like watching another team out there for a half, aggressive play calling, medium range passes, passing on first down, Henne was 6 of 7 at one point, in a rhythm.

who were those guys, I want to see more of it.
