Lynch is a complete non prospect as a QB. He is a late round prospect as a James Casey FB/HB/TE swiss army knife type.

Why?

He probably thought Colin Klein's 'dual threat' video game numbers was going to skyrocket too.

if you honestly think lynch cant throw, then you clearly haven't watched him play at all... he is not just a runner.

But why would he be skyrocketing up draft boards with two games left to play? He's been the exact same guy for two years now and played in a BCS Bowl last season. Scouts know who he is at this point.

No Jimmy Garoppolo love?  I'd use one of our 5ths on him.

i dont think a lot of people have seen/heard of him, including me but i read an nfl article that he could possibly be a day 2 pick come draft time

I seriously doubt he's a day two pick.

I was going to mention him, but figured most people didn't like him enough.  I just disagree, but in the 4th or 5th, I'd certainly take him as a project.  Which is kind of what Cousins is.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Paul Allen, the Vikings play by play radio announcer,  mentioned Jimmy Garoppolo today on his daily sports talk show on KFAN as someone to keep a close eye on leading up to the draft.

bro the kirk cousins analogy embodies the notion that we will take two qbs in the draft  :whistling:

yea because taking 2 qb's in the draft is such a smart idea, it worked out well for the deadskins.... no team will draft a qb in the top 5 and take another qb in the next 3 rounds, that sends a bad message to your franchise qb...

I am a Washington fan and trust me, he has no future in the NFL. He's not really good at anything.

He's not very big. He'll probably come in around 6'0 200 lbs with a mediocre arm. And he has average speed.
