Having number 1 pick to big a risk

Take that with what you will.

Quote:Its pretty simple...

If the Jags get the #1 pick - take Bridgewater.

If the Jags get the #2 pick take Clowney, or trade down if the trade compensation is significant enough.

I am Bullseye and I approve this message.

The only question I would have is how far down do you deal-IF you were willing to deal down.

At this point, I'm not sure I'd want to deal down if we have the chance to get Bridgewater or Clowney.   Perhaps if Minnesota were picking 3rd and wanted Mariota, I'd deal down with them if they threw in a 2nd or something and still take Clowney.

Someone asked who the other 3 were?

Tampa Bay took Lee Roy Selmon #1 overall in 1976. Seattle took Steve Neihaus at #2.

Yeah, let's pass on Teddy Bridgewater and instead put in Matt Scott.

The same Matt Scott whose every pass in the preseason hit a DB in the hands.

Great idea.
