Free Agency

Cannot stress it enough. This team cannot focus primarily on the draft, we are in desperate need of more established talent. If we can't invest in FA, than the same old repeating cycle of "Rebuilding" will continue. Like it or not, the draft is only useful for necessary plug-ins like drafting a franchise QB to supplement free agency.

Who, exactly, has that strategy worked for in the last 10 years?

This. Please, do share with us what teams have consistently won in the last 10-15 years by regularly spending big in free agency.

Stress it all you want.  FA complements the draft.  Not the other way around.

They will have cap space to add a couple of decent veteran free agents.  They aren't going to go nuts, though.

Isn't Miami 3-0?

We need some offensive lineman that can Do their job. Idc where we get them, but we need them!

I would guess the O-line will get a bit of FA help as well as an early round pick.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
