I took a two hour nap on the couch, lullabied with the sound of rain and distant thunder. It was GLORIOUS.

Was out eating last night and came out to leave and the car next to me had a Noles license plate on the front. Had to go around back and check out the tag and they were from St. Johns County. Pretty cool.

She needs some anger management classes. If its true about the IOC and the swim cap issue for natural hair then that should be addressed but to be 100% honest, when was the last time a black man or woman competed in swimming or diving events at the Olympics? I honestly don't know. I guess I can look it up. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
What are swim caps for natural hair? Are they different than a normal swim cap? Are swimmers allowed to wear swim caps?
So any questions!

I've never seen a diver or swimmer not wear one at the Olympics. The material they're made out of is not friendly to the hair of black and mixed race folks. I remember hearing that somewhere. Their hair is very prone to drying out and breaking or splitting off and traditional caps can be very harsh.

People keep saying happy Independence Day. I don’t know what they’re talking about. It’s the 4th of July. You know, firecracker day.

And it's not the cap that's harmful to hair, most of them are just latex or silicone, it's the water that's rough. 4 hours a day in chlorinated water messes up your hair. The caps don't keep your head dry underneath.

Even though I’ll be fine, I’m a true candidate for the freaking Darwin Award. My firework days are well past me. As far as wasting money and lighting them. My daughter asks if we can get sparklers. Yeah, sure. Today we light a few left overs. We had a few of the massive sparklers. I keep a ton of long lighters on hand. My wife recently started back up on the nasty smoking [BLEEP]. She buys the dainty Bic crap. 2 of my long lighters were used up/acting up. I didn’t feel like going to grab another. I used the dainty bic and once I lit a trio of the massive sparklers…. Holy [BLEEP]. Great learning experience for the kiddo. Don’t be a [BLEEP] like your dad. My thumb was charred! And to think, when I bought these sparklers, another dude had quite an array of mortars on the counter but still shopping. I lay my sparklers down to get rung up and the guy asks if “all of this was mine” as the other patron walked up. My reply was “no, just the lame ones”. They seemed to get a kick out of that.
So, is Wal-Mart in Duval and other locations not taking cash in the self checkouts anymore? I went to my local one today and none of them accept cash anymore and they had one lane open for cash customers with a cashier. Are they stupid? I mean, of course they are, but seriously. Let me pay the way I want to pay or I can give my money to another store.
Looks like I’ll have a day off tomorrow!! Woohoo! (Fist pump).
Friday comes along and (hangs head down in shame) looks like I’ll be working Saturday.
The wife and I went out for dinner tonight - to Bucees. I had a pulled pork burrito. So good. Of course we left with a pound of beef jerky.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.
