I'm more of a "westside" grower and he's in Tulare County so all the pathways we'd have to meet (processors, PCAs, water districts) are all different. Westside and South Valley guys don't really mix as much as you'd think we would, kinda weird I guess. Custom operating, things like field planting, or mechanical raisin harvesting is how you get to know a ton of farmers and I don't really do anything like that either. |
