I should be asleep in a half hour.

And wake up hungry again.

I was hungry halfway home.

Aren’t Sequoias naturally fire resistant?

They did it. SpaceX sent four civilians to space for 3 days and returned them safely. I'm a little surprised this isn't covered more in the news, but it just shows how routine space flight is becoming. These aren't highly trained astronauts either, but civilians with one (the billionaire who paid for it) being an experienced pilot. Beyond that, they received a relative cursory training cycle of six months for contingency events. The flight was fully automated.

Btw, this wasn't some quick 15 minute jaunt just above the Karman line like Bezos and Branson did. These folks were not only in orbit, but they went unusually high, around 360 miles. Considering the ISS orbits at 240 and the Hubble at around 340, this was way up there.

Good job, SpaceX.

Although the transaction between Jared Isaacman and Elon Musk is confidential, I've read speculations of $40-50M being laid down to cover the costs of the launch and training. Isaacman took three other people with him and so far has raised north of $100M for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from the launch, with more being raised.

It was a win win.

Sorry to hear that, Eric. I know it's little consolation, but these last 20 months have been strange and difficult for the whole world.

Appreciate it man yea it’s not something exclusive to me for sure. Honestly the first 3 I wasn’t caught off guard this last one just came out of left field. Makes you think who’s next?

I don’t know what to believe or who to believe anymore. That’s the hard part for me just the feeling of being lost.

I know it doesn’t make you feel better, but my wife has been to 2 in two days.  I’m sorry for your losses, bro.
