My dad and step mom always did a clam boil every Christmas or Thanksgiving, alternating which day got it every year. I no longer live in Jacksonville and they divorced last year so no more holday clam boils. One year they froze a pot of it and the following late summer brought it to me when they were passing through on their way to New England. Not as good as fresh but it was still a nice treat. I miss those days. |
