Inquiring minds want to know because this one wouldn't move back there for anything. Lol. Where I am in life now I'm 100% happy living in small town NC. Though I'd prefer to be in the mountains than the south central part of the state, but it's still better than anywhere in FL for me. 

The only thing I miss about Duval is football season and going to games.

Almost afraid to post this, but I’m on cloud 9. Just the switch that flipped inside of me moving out and getting rid of the dark matter I was living amongst has made me a happy man finally. But I met a girl. Bat [BLEEP] crazy at times girl. Tatted up. Great woman, great mother. Hard working and god fearing. Funny and fun to be around. And she is hot as can be and takes care of her body. I’m smitten. We had a date and it went way better than I can ever expect. Both of us looking forward to the next.

Oh. My. Goodness. It is glorious weather today. Currently 81° with 41% humidity and 55° dew point. Sunny with winds at 7mph. It actually feels more like mid to late September. 

The suck of it is I have a sinus headache and pressure and bright light makes it feel like Robert Patrick's Terminator is pushing his stabby finger into my brain through my eyes.   

Sadly Friday-Tuesday will be the same craptastic heat and humidity and 'real feel' of satan's armpit. Hopefully I can enjoy the day later this afternoon.

Some things just make me wonder at times..... I was just walking in to the library a few minutes ago (been here just long enough to get the laptop set up and fired up) Now, they keep one internal door propped open so if someone has their hands full, it makes it easier for them to leave. Yes, they do have those automated doors that you can push a button to open if you're disabled..... now, that being said, I was right at the door that was open, I mean right in between the door jams when, this punk kid, couldn't have been more than 15-16 years old literally pushed me back through the door so he could save a few precious seconds to leave. Where the [BLEEP] are the parents and others that are supposed to teach these punks manners? I walk with a cane because of having both hips replaced, one just last month (July) on the 15th because they found a stress fracture on the x-ray. I mean for real, pushing a 62 year old man that walks with a cane to stay upright so you can save a second or 2........ Makes me glad that I'll be taking my well-deserved dirt nap by the time these punks come in to power...... If they don't have manners or common sense now, they will not know how to solve real problems when they arise and need to be confronted head on. I'll tell you, this country will go to hell in a hand basket faster than it already is when they have control. Makes me wonder why I don't see any of these doomsday prophets with a sign that says the end is near walking around. I think some of this stuff going on with the youth today is turning me in to one of those Get Off My Lawn cranky old guys.......

I'm just busting your chops. Life takes sharp turns sometimes but all we can do is move on. I'm glad you found a girl who seems to check all the boxes. We're all glad for you.

OK...... needed to run to my storage unit first thing this morning to get some documents out of my safe. Had to move a few things to get to it but it wasn't all that big of a deal. Anyway, a box of old clothes fell over, one again, no big deal as they were old clothes that I haven't worn in a while. Just saved them because they were still in good shape without any holes, rips, etc. Looked at the label on a pair of Wrangler jeans and they were relaxed fit, 48W 32L. Now the jeans I've been wearing the last few years have been a 50W 30L. Now since April, I've spent around 3.5 months in medical facilities for various reasons and I know that I've been losing some weight........ So....... I decided to see if they would fit again....... well, I didn't even need a shoehorn, there was enough room where I didn't even need to unbutton the waist button. I knew I saved them for a reason........ LOL
