What to realistically expect from Fournette this season

Fournette has been doing pretty darn well, I agree completely. He'd be doing even better if this coaching staff would stop being idiots.

I understand the excuse of not wanting to run him into the ground, this early into the season, but there's absolutely no excuse why he was only on the field for 38 plays, while Ivory was on the field for 34 plays this past Sunday.

It's beyond obvious that whenever Fournette is on the field, the Defense is keyed onto him, regardless of if he's getting the ball or not. You don't have to force the ball to him every other play, but he needs to be on the field for at least 70% of the snaps.

Him being on the field makes the entire Offense look better, and flow so much better than when he's not on the field. You drafted this guy in the top 5.. Use him NOW and stop worrying about how he might be 4 years from now.

Yup. And to that point, you leave him in there on more passing downs and don't spell him quite as often and it will open up a lot more. As you said, the defense keys in on him, that's what a game changing player does.

Mercedes was saying this week that we need to give him the ball more.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
