That's why Sanders' ideas appealed to so many people. It's only gonna pick up steam.

If this country had started out as socialist then people would get what everyone gets in a socialist country. As it is, we were not built that way and too many people already take advantage of what they DON'T work for so no, it's not a good idea.

Do you not understand what the waiver rule is for injured players or just the specific situation involving one of our players?

I have read about players on other teams being waived/injured. All of the reports about them state if nobody claims the player, he will "revert to IR" on his previous team.

Sanders ideas appealed to arguably the least informed members of our society. Just look at his rallies.  These aren’t the people working their fingers to the bone and seeing nothing for their tax dollars. These are people living on mommy and daddy’s dime who think they’re entitled to free stuff, and Bernie was only too happy to promise them the moon to get their vote.

You clearly agree with Sanders.  Move to one of those utopias and live it.  I hear Venezuela is lovely.

Eventually you’ll discover what a fraud the Bernster is. He was perfectly fine to take a payout to get out of Hillary’s way.  It got him another waterfront vacation home.  Socialism has been very very good for the Bernster.  As long as he keeps promising people free stuff we can’t pay for, they’ll cheer him on.  Bernie needs a new pool, so stay on that bandwagon.

According to reports during the election, Sanders’ plan would have expanded the federal government by 50%, and would have cost $30 trillion over 10 years above and beyond what we are spending today.  And like most estimates of government spending, if they’re saying $30 trillion you can double or even triple that figure because the bigger government gets, the more bureaucracy you’ll need to feed.  The only one she who will benefit are the ruling class.  His suggestion of taxing the rich to pay for all husbands generosity is pure folly.  You could tax the top 1% at 100% and you’re barely scratching the surface.

Socialism isn’t something that we can do better.  Someone has to pay for all the fee crap, and the population of earners vs. those who can no longer do so is already trending in a direction where we can’t afford the current structure.  Toss his plans into the mix and we will be Venezuela in a minute.

No, no, no.  Bernie is giving us "Democratic Socialism"    It's completely different because we get to elect who takes our taxes for "the state" as opposed to having someone appointed to take our taxes for "the state".  This is so much better you see?

Here, people are pay taxes while we see our roads and bridges deteriorate. People are working two jobs, neither of which provide health insurance and they watch all their income go towards doctor bills, student loans and daycare. Is that a good thing? I think not! In Socialist Democracies they see where their tax dollars go. Here, you just pay your money so we can protect other nations. At least that's where I'm assuming the tax dollars go, because we certainly aren't seeing any benefits. Norway and Denmark have been voted the happiest countries on Earth and both are Socialist Democracies. They don't mind paying a little more taxes as long as they see tangible benefits from their tax dollars ala healthcare, education, daycare and infrastructure repair. Those things are not free. People's tax dollars pay for them.

Actually, they're running Pence and/or Ryan's campaigns for them.

Although if Trump does manage to start getting things done by appealing to the Democrats in Congress to force compromises, then I will certainly be impressed. Ignoring your own party is a move taken at no small risk.

Like Trump, he offered a totally different view of things, (only in the opposite direction of Trump.) Bernie was also a much more likable person than Donald, (but who isn't?) Nobody wanted the same old, same old which is what Hillary represented. The Democratic party was way too clueless and out of touch with middle America to notice this and their total commitment to her campaign cost them this election. Their just stupid enough to try and support her again though in the next election, should she choose to run. She's so delusional, I would be surprised if she didn't give it another go.

I don't think the Democrats would win by going farther to the left, which is what Bernie Sanders represents.  The man is an avowed socialist.   The Democrats can win by going to the middle.  That's where the votes are.   I'm not sure they realize this.
Judging by their treatment of Tulsi Gabbard, who is about as close to centrist as prominent Democrats get, I think they're very well aware of that and want no part of the middle.

As I said in my previous post, this country was not built as a socialist nation. We are 200+ years into being a country and no one alive now will ever see it become a prosperous socialist country in the US.. I mean, we can't even get past racism, and it's 2017. How on earth do you think the entire system on which this country was built is going to change?

I don't like how our tax dollars are wasted either, but the problem isn't a tax problem, it's a people problem, meaning all the charlatans we put into office and the special interest groups, lobbyists and corporations are the problem.

Me/you 2020? Or you/me 2020? I'm cool either way. The whole "female veteran" thing might win you some points at the polls that I won't get.
