Blake Bortles Crow thread

Blake had 8TDs and 2 ints since Doug took over
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

As I said before, Blake's gonna need an MVP type season before he changes my mind about moving on from him. He's still the weakest link on the team. If we had a consistently decent QB, this team could really start to go places.

This team would be 3-0 right now if it wasn't for the players around Bortles causing stupid penalties. Get over it already.

Bortles isn't perfect and he wont ever be, but he's not the reason we lost vs the Titans. If you think he was, and if you think he's the weakest link on this team, you're flat out clueless.

At the end of the day, Bortles is the 2nd best QB this Franchise has ever had. It's honestly pathetic how bad this franchise wants to run off every QB because they can't carry a team like Peyton Manning, or Aaron Rodgers could.

He threw 2 ints vs tacks he may not of been only reason but he was one of them.

The titans game got out of hand in the 3rd quarter, heavily linked to a dreadful and unfortunate quarter by the QB.  I am not sure it is level reasoning to only pinpoint players around him.  Overall, the titans were the better team and controlled the trenches so the Jags couldn't function as a unit.  They jagged the Jags in Week 2; opponents are taking notes.

I believe Bortles is the most gifted QB the Jags have had, mechanical issues aside.  Ranking 'bests' however is another story.  He has to prove he is a fixture at the position that can lead his team to wins first.  I  hope he continues upward for the stability and progress of the team.  titans days will happen, but if more Houston and B'more Blake show up this season, he will justify the 5th year choice.
Success is a journey, not a destination.  Go all out Mighty Jaguars.

1 INT was absolutely his fault. Bad throw, late and behind Lee.

The other INT was a bang-bang type of play. The Defender got his hand up and deflected the pass while his face was buried into the OL's chest. Good play by the Defender.

As I've posted previously, you see the above... He unfortunately caused all of those penalties, on 5 straight drives to put this Offense so dreadfully behind the chains right?

Brunell never threw over 20 TDs as a jag and he had Smith and MCcardell.  He did throw 20 picks, Garrard's career high was 23 in 14 games btw.

Clearly the most gifted QB this team has ever seen was Cleo Lemon. Debate over.

It's only one game, I still think we should draft a QB... unless I see him play like this every game for the rest of the season I won't change my mind about that... we have a complete team other than our QB... we need a elite QB while our team is still talented and have all the pieces... I'd love to see Bortles make me eat my words but until then I will continue to criticize him, and rightfully so.

Even if he plays like he did against the Ravens every game the rest of the season I'd draft a QB round 1/2.  Too good of a class not to snag one high(ish) no matter what.

Well, BB definitely had a better game in London than I anticipated. For the most part, good decisions and good accuracy. I will gladly eat crow, and hope to continue to eat crow this year. Who knows, maybe he will truly grow into a franchise QB. Terry Bradshaw's first 4 or 5 years were abysmal, but he ended up with 4 Super Bowl rings.
