What is broken with the run defense?

It's a chess game. Defensive Coordinator gets caught guessing too much.

We got the best CB Duo on the planet so let them do their thing and everybody else focus on the run.

Some of what you are describing is as simple as teams lining up 3 WR and then running out of that formation against our nickel defense instead of our base D. 

I don't really see so much bad guessing from the coordinator as just the Jags D getting beat by the run in the middle when the offense spreads the field.  

It will be interesting to see how Wash and company attempt to correct the issue moving forward.
