Article on Yannick

This guy went to my alma mater so I was very high on him watching just about every snap he made in college. He abused Decker and Conklin in college (both 1st round tackles) but because the Terps went 3-9 that season, not many people knew him.

So lucky to have this guy.

Pretty cool that loads in this board liked him pre draft from what I remember and had him pencilled in for the 3rd/4th round. Ended up a star.

Although I do recall not being a fan of him after watching

If Yannick had played for an SEC school, he would have gone in the 1st round. He's better than Leonard Floyd.

I agree. If Yan played at Florida with Fowler, he would have been 3rd overall.

I remember watching him play against Iowa.  He stood out and I am happy to have him on the Jaguars.

Props to the scouting team. Yannick is the kind of player we need to consistently get in round 3-4 to stay great.

Same here, with all the great players stepping up this year I sometimes forget how much he has been contributing to our dominance.

I bet Ohio State, USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon, Texas and maybe a few other would have gotten him to the 1st round. Screw the SEC haha

He was my boy a couple years ago and I remember me and someone else here were banging the table for him to be picked.

I've noticed he does sort of a hesitation, or double move, where he looks like he's going to bull-rush, then goes outside. It sort of suckers the tackle into setting himself for a bull rush before Ngakoue beats him with speed to the outside.

I think if for next year he develops a spin move to get back inside he will be very very hard to block.

What else is there to be said about him that hasn't already been said?
