I didn't realize we had that many pressures on Ben
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

I linked into another video after this one which was a discussion between Mojo and Deion. Mojo predicts that if 'the refs allow Tom Brady to be touched' Yannick will get three and a half sacks. That would be nice, but I don't see it happening. As a matter of fact, I'm expecting the Patriots offense to repeat what Jimmy G. and the Niners used on us.

I am pretty sure actual pick plays are against the rules, and should be flagged. I love how its in the conversation though, in order to beat the Jags you have to basically break the rules. Cool! And I bet the Pats get away with it all game too. I know as long as you make no contact its technically not ruled a "pick", but I hate they call it that.

I hate the pick play call. Totally subjective. Seems as though refs call it whenever they are in the mood to. If I were a play caller, I would do it all the time. Extremely effective. Reminds me of those Pitino Kentucky teams. Would pressure and mug the other teams point guard but refs arent going to keep calling fouls so they let the majority of it go.

The pick plays have been used ever since football started. Used on all levels from pee wee to pro. There's ways to make it look more legal. If jags show man coverage you can bet your bottom dollar the pats will use pick plays to free up their RBs and just dump it. Defense is going to have to show different coverages and when caught in man and caught in a pick try and sell the penalty.

The problem with the pick play call is it's really not subjective.  The only reason it could even be considered objective is because its rarely called.  Like holding its become so commonplace that refs don't call it.  it should be called every single time.

If holding on the OL was called every time it occurred (every freaking play, regardless of which team is involved), the game would never end.

I prefer the way the refs are in the playoffs - keep the flags in the pocket and let them play. Only throw a flag for the most obvious offenses.

More important than the pick the plays will be where they actually call a penalty for WRs blocking before the player has caught the ball on the screen.

This is a good defense. I think they know all of these things are coming. They actually tried that last week in Pittsburgh and I specifically remember Romo mentioning that and Telvin Smith was able to get underneath the "pick" and make the tackle. If they can just keep Gronkowski in check I think we'll be fine. I expect us to play with a nasty and mean streak all day. Wouldn't be surprised if we run it at will here and there.

How do these analysts have jobs?!

Cris Carter just said....

Pittsburgh has a GREAT offense and averages 26.4 ppg
Jags have a BAD offense and averages 26.2 ppg

Cris Carter is so clueless.

I keep hearing about how BAD the Jags #6 scoring offense is.

For example in 2013, when the Ravens won it all, their scoring offense was #25. JAGS are #6!!!!!!

Go ahead Cris....let Brady think he can punt the ball......we will score 30 on em.

Clueless announcers.
