McDaniels: 'I definitely want to be a head coach again'

Josh McDaniels might have spurned the Indianapolis Colts to remain Patriots offensive coordinator, but the New England OC said Friday it's still his goal to be a head coach again some day.

He will be one day, He made a good decision turning down the Colts. If Luck can't return to form than that is a gamble that he can't afford to take. He failed once in Denver so if he fails twice he's done..he was smart not to tie the only other shot at being head coach to Luck's questionable shoulder/career.

The guy has a fantastic offensive mind, he's going to get another chance and tie himself to something more stable. I know as a Colts fan that might be hard to read, but it has to be the only reason why he said no. If this was his first shot, I'm sure he'd jump at the chance...but how many people get 3 chances to be head coach from being a coordinator without previous head coaching experience?  Daniels is going to take his time and be calculated picking his chance/last chance #2.
