Michael Cohen pleads guilty, say Trump directed him to commit the crimes

Assange has said, multiple times, that he was willing to prove that Russia wasn't involved. Mueller, of course, doesn't want that information.

That dog won't hunt.
Assange has made his name by announcing that he has confidential information and then releasing it to the entire public in a matter of weeks.
It would be completely unlike him to acquire proof and not disclose it by now.

He doesn't want to release it to the public because he worried it would compromise the source. I wouldn't doubt that he also wants to use it as leverage to drop the charges against him. Either way, Assange's career is based on reliability, and if he lies so openly then his credibility is shot. There's been no reason to doubt the accuracy of anything he's said.

The man will never again enjoy any kind of life outside of the Ecuadorian embassy in London or a British or swedish prison. He has nothing to gain and nothing to lose. You are saying he's acting a certain way to preserve his "career" but his career is already gone and already meaningless to him. And it's less likely that he would do something out of character like obtain a big geopolitical secret and not disclose it.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

It's called INTEGRITY, mikesez. For some people it's the most important thing. People who have none probably think integrity is for suckers.

I'm not questioning anyone's integrity.
Assange's understanding of integrity is that if you know something important you disclose it.  He's not going to change his idea of integrity now.
