Quote:That game had to set a record for penalties. Can you imagine how much worse it would be if none of them were declined?

The record for combined accepted penalties per game is 37,  from a game between the Bears and Browns back in 1951.    That record got plenty of mention as a result of the Brad Allen crew fiasco.

Quote:Through this point of the season, Jerome Boger's crew has called more penalties from an average per game standpoint than any of the other officiating crews.

Boger has not been that bad in past seasons. I don't know what is up with him this year.

As long as he has a job, I will always put Jeff Triplette on the top of my referee hate list. But JagsGooner is right - Clete Blakeman sucks.

Jeff Triplette is the scheduled Referee for the Raiders-Jaguars game.   Hopefully,  the officials won't impact the game in an adverse manner.

UGH! He hates the Jaguars and always makes bad calls against them. The worst by far, which I will never forget, was ruling Jacksonville's RB fumbled even after reviewing the play when he was clearly down by contact. It decided the game.
