Beathard is developing nicely. I'm surprised you never heard of him, his Grandpa was a GM that saw seven superbowls, winning four of them. As recently as 94 with the chargers. He looked good tonight, but he was known as the checkdown king last year. He has the whole season to prove his worth, so we'll see how he finishes the year.

That's what I was thinking when I watched the game. This dude was laying it out and hitting receivers in stride, with nice tight spirals. I mean, we're working on year 5 of Bortles' development, and up pops this guy out of nowhere.
