so there were plenty of reasons to oppose his nomination that had nothing to do with Donald Trump and nothing to do with allegations of sexual harassment. If you are somebody was hoping for less partisanship, Kavanaugh's record of employment is highly concerning. Of course he confirmed all of those concerns in his final testimony to the Senate, making it much more hostile and partisan than it was already.

You're so bad at this, you made his damn point for him. They skipped the valid reasons entirely and voted because of the patently false, completely partisan one. You want so badly to be seen as this intellectual power that you repeatedly talk yourself into these corners. Sad.

Malabar Jag seems unaware of the fact that there were non sexual allegations against Kavanaugh.
if Malabar Jags whole point is that the Kavanaugh episode makes Democrats and their voters look bad, I agree.
But it also makes Republicans and their voters look bad.
You have to remember that the Kavanaugh hearings took place over a course of months, and the sexual stuff did not become public until the very last month.
The Democrats in the Senate did indeed put forward the same arguments about him being too partisan that I just put forward.
But nobody cared.
The Republicans in the Senate were not moved by arguments for fair play.
The media did not make a big deal about it.
The Democratic party voters were not highly engaged.
Shame on all of us.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
