2020 Democratic Presidential Candidates

1) The heavies are running this show.
2) 2019 is just to see if anybody at the kiddie table can eat with the grownups.
3) There's still a strong possibility a candidate with the last name of Clinton or Obama will land in this punch bowl.

Nothing. They should just ignore it like the Republicans did when Trump was talking to Billy Bush about grabbing women by the ***** and when he talked about how he'd be dating his daughter, if they weren't related or how he ordered his lawyer to pay off porn stars he slept with. If the Republicans can ignore "creepy" behavior by their candidate, why shouldn't the Democrats?

All of those things you listed were actions (actually just talk) made with permission of the other party. Biden's fondling of women was not, at least not in several cases.

You can't be serious. Did he ask women if he could grab them by the *****? No. He was explaining to Bush that they let him get away with it, because of who he was. That is not consent. I'm sure Ivanka is very comfortable with her dad basically saying he would have slept with her, had she not been his daughter. What woman doesn't want to hear those words from her own father?

You both have valid points here.
We have audio of Trump claiming to do bad stuff.
We have video showing Biden actually doing bad stuff.
The stuff Trump claimed to do on audio is worse than the stuff Biden has actually been caught doing.
But it may have been the Trump was just lying, thinking that it would impress whoever he was talking to at the time.

If an attractive woman said, "If you're beautiful, men will let you grab their crotch", would you be enraged about it 3 years later?

So, you're saying Trump is an attractive man, huh?

No, I am not saying that. He is a rich, famous man, therefore desirable to women no matter what he looks like.

Technically he never even said he did it. He said they would let someone do it (Bush, since he used the term "you", but I take "you" as meaning "one" in context). It's possible he only repeated something he heard from another celebrity.

Biden is on video actually fondling women.

Trump was right when he said, "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters."
You guys defend everything he does.

And you take every opportunity to blow whatever he says or does way out of proportion. TDS: It's What's For Breakfast (and lunch, dinner, brunch, afternoon tea, midnight snack, happy hour, second breakfast).

But he gives us so much ammunition, every single day. When you have a President who is a narcissist with impulse control issues, there is a lot to work with.

Wait a minute.  Wasn't it the left that was hysterical about everything Trump, did, said, might have done, might have have said and even what he was perceived to have done or said?  As I recall the right said, not big deal.  There is actual video of Uncle Joe doing things and I see no hysteria from the right, more of an Uh-Oh and sophmoric snickering.  And still the left keeps stammering, but Trump...

It would behoove the right to avoid trying to apply a progressive standard with regards to sexual harassment. Every Republican should be defending Joe Biden, at least as for now, because has done nothing illegal. Don't get me wrong, it comes across creepy and isn't a standard to be endorsed, but I am specifically referring to conflating harassment with discomfort. I realize most of what is being done is pointing out the hypocrisy, but that can be done without condemning Joe Biden.

On a side note, it wouldn't surprise me if this is a test run early to get Joe's biggest flaws out in the open to see how he polls. He hasn't decided to run, and this would be one of the biggest complaints about him.

There's Trump and about 20 other people that could be elected President in 2020.  We have to discuss all of their flaws and failings in order to pick the best one.  Unfortunately, one person may just be trying to discuss flaws, and the person listening might hear condemnation instead.

He needs to keep his damn hetero-normative, patriarchal, physical aggression against dis-empowered minorities to himself.

So is this thread going to discuss the numerous terrible Democrat POTUS choices or just bicker about which old white dude is creepier the Don, Uncle Joe, or Cryptkeeper Sanders?

Personally, I think the latter offers more substance and entertainment... but we do want to stay on topic I figure.

If the best the Dems can offer is Joe Biden they already have lost imo.

Keep in mind that at this time in 2015, Scott Walker was the leader in the clubhouse to take on Hillary. Lot of time left, but the Dems won't use that time moving more towards the center. They will continue to eat their own, and it will be glorious.
