I love 7 round mocks! I'd like to just make a few points:

1. No chance Murray drops to 20. Not a chance.
2. Is this who you would take in the draft or how you think the draft is going to go down?
3. Changes I would make if the draft plays out this way: I would take McLaurin over Doss. McLaurin is going to be awesome. I would have then taken Montgomery with our 2nd 3rd round pick.

Personally, I don't see the Cards taking Murray #1 overall and if they don't want him for Kliff Kingsbury's system, which would be his best fit, I believe he will tumble down the draft board. He's a very polarizing player and I think everyone knows I'm not a fan. Maybe I'm wrong, but I have a gut feeling he goes to the Titans.

This draft is how I think things will go, not necessarily how i want things to go. If I had my way, we'd trade up as high as possible to get Haskins, but it looks like we're signing Foles. I adjusted the mock to reflect that signing.

I loved what I saw from Doss at the Senior Bowl. He has size, he ran fluid routes and he caught everything thrown his way and would make a great redzone target. I really like McLaurin as well, but he is a different type of receiver. He's a great route runner as well and possesses great speed and quickness. He doesn't have the size Doss has or quite as good of hands, but he is a great player as well. I just think Doss is a better fit.

As far as Montgomery, I wouldn't take any RB. We just have too many other needs and this RB class is so deep it's ridiculous. There will be starting caliber RB's who won't even get drafted. I'm all for bringing in a couple of high priority UDFA's to fill the roles of Yeldon and Grant. I fully expect some players like L.J. Scott, Karan Higdon, Jalin Moore, Dexter Williams, James Williams, Jordan Scarlett, Darwin Thompson, Kerrith Whyte, Damarea Crockett, John Santiago, Nico Evans, Ty Johnson, Devine Ozigbo, Myles Gaskin, Bruce Anderson, Nick Brosette, Elijah Holyfield, Alex Barnes, Qadree Ollison or my favorite late round RB, Darrin Hall could be available after the draft.

It doesn't really, they could still draft a QB in the 1st. Keenum is basically a 1 year place holder anyways. Would make sense for them to take somebody with the intentions on sitting behind Keenum for a season.

I am always in awe of the knowledge of college football players by posters here...but this is truly special. To name 20 RB's not likely to even be drafted is pretty impressive- the only one I ever even heard of is Holyfield, for obvious reasons. Great job, O-LM.

I dont think Nauta is the 4th TE...he looked terrible at the combine and will probably drop a good bit.

First off you did a fantastic job with this draft

Looking at it, there were no picks that seemed overly implausible in the first 2-3 rounds.  Most of those picks made a ton of sense.

I had only minor quibbles with the picks, the most controversial yo me was Kyler Murray, but to me, that pick would be questionable anywhere in the first round.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

All looks possible enough.

I think you're over-valuing the LBs a bit, haven't seen many mocks that have that many going in the first two rounds.

Like BEJ said, I think Nauta will fall significantly following the combine, it's not like he had a ton of great production or tape to fall back on, people were projecting and, considering his athletic profile, those projections now look much worse. On the flip side Moreau the TE out of LSU will be rapidly rising, I'd be shocked if he isn't drafted before Nauta now.

I think Deebo will definitely go before round 3, in my book possibly even late round 1. Same for Garrett Bradbury. And massively for Erik McCoy, no way he gets to 127! Yodny Cajuste will also go earlier, you seem to be lower on a lot of o-line than most.

Antoine Wesley and Emmanuel Hall will go higher than that too. And finally Kahale Warring, you have him 254, he's one of those small school gems with good tape and athleticism who will shoot up draft boards, probably end up close to a day 2 pick.

In summary, LBs too high, O-line and pass catchers too low.

Great job, as always. As far as the picks for the Jaguars, I'm totally onboard with the first 2 picks. Hockenson and Lindstrom may not be sexy picks, but they are immediate starters and potential pro-bowlers within 3 years. I would have to say that these will actually be the first 2 picks, especially if Foles is signed.

If your overall mock is used, I would go with the following for the Jaguars:

Rd.1   Hockenson

Rd. 2  Lindstrom

Rd. 3  Terry McLaurin-  Like everything about him.

Rd. 3  Tytus Howard-   This guy has great upside. I'd find a way to keep Parnell for one more year until Howard is ready. Can also play guard, if necessary.

Rd. 4  Juan Thornhill-  I don't think he'll be available, but he'd be my one defensive pick. He'd  be the team's starting free safety in 2 years. Very smart and productive.

Rd. 6  Emmanuel Hall- I doubt he'll be available, but hernia may push him down. Highly athletic and too good to pass on despite some drops in college.

Rd. 7  Clayton Thorsen- Likely a career back-up, but he did show flashes at Northwestern. Injury effected his senior play. I expect the Jags to sign a cheap FA q.b. in addition to Foles.

Again, great job with your overall mock!

It doesn't really, they could still draft a QB in the 1st. Keenum is basically a 1 year place holder anyways. Would make sense for them to take somebody with the intentions on sitting behind Keenum for a season.

Maybe you're right. I didn't realize Keenum restructured to basically a 1 year deal.

Agreed on #3, and well done to go through a full draft like this, OLM. I honestly think we'll have to pull the trigger earlier to get grier, at least that late third.

If this is how draft day plays out, I really hope we can move into the teens.

I'm a big fan of both McLaurin and Howard. The only thing about McLaurin is that IMO, he doesn't offer anything different than what Dede Westbrook gives us. I was looking for more of a redzone threat and Doss offers the size needed for that. As for Howard, I'd love to add him. I could see him playing RT or LT.

Juan Thornhill played the Sabre position at Virginia which is just their version of Strong Safety. I just don't know if he could convert to the FS position.

Emmanuel Hall has suspect hands. I watched Drew Lock play several games this year and when Hall did play, he missed some catches that he should've made IMO. I'm very skeptical of receivers with "butterfingers". He does have great size and athleticism though.

I'm not a fan of Thorsen at all. The guy is a "turnover machine." I just don't think he could even make the roster. I struggled with even putting him in my draft.

Thanks.
