Why didn't the Jags sign Mack?

#41

Jackson > Vernon

Back on topic.  I wish the team had snagged Mack but it didn't work out that way.  Move on?

Huh

@marcsesslerNFL So much of the Falcons' success on offense traces back to center Alex Mack. Blasting open holes & giving Ryan that extra second to throw.

Man, he supposed to be playing for us.

Quote:Mack was on the radar, and it seems he's added a huge boost to Atlantas production.

Anyone know why he wasn't gone after? Money? Happy with what was current line up?

Just curious.

Someone said Boselli advised Caldwell against it after reviewing tape of his strength & footwork.   Apparently, word has it that Boselli suggested moving Joekel to guard and Linder to center

How is this thread not locked or at least moved yet?

It has nothing to do with the Jags.

Get over the fact that he signed with the Falcons. Who cares?

Jags not pursuing a certain player in free agency.

It has nothing to do with the Jags??  What are you going to complain about next, the Gratz topic not being moved to Sideline?

We'll sign him in a few years.  He's on the back end of our 7-year rebuild

How come we don't have a thread about every player the Jags didn't sign or pursue? We should start a "why didn't we sign Vernon, Jenkins, Hudson...?" and also a "Why didn't we draft Rodgers, Brady, Brees...?"  thread. It's all irrelevant to the current Jags team.

Let me know what Mack playing in ATL has to do with the Jags.

The Gratz topic has relevance since he was just released by the Jags. Mack has never played for the Jags and FA has been over for a while now.

But please, continue with this enlightening thread.

Not really sure some people understand the free part of free agency.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that he either didn't want to come here, or Atlanta offered him a deal that he couldn't refuse.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.  Those who understand binary and those who don't.

Dude .... relax.  you don't have to read it or post on it if you don't want to.

The fact of the matter is that every time you post on this thread it gets bumped to the top.

Don't you have better things in life to worry about rather than whether something is in the Jaguars section or the NFL section of this message board.

He's a big Hip Hop fan and has a huge recording deal set in the ATL feat T.I and Ludacris after the season.

Just like we remember your incessant whining about not signing Vernon, even though he didn't want to come here.

We remember it well, especially since the 2 rookies are outplaying him right now. Both have better stats.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
