and DT Khairi Clark waived to make room.  McGowan attended earlier as a tryout player, and was an undrafted player this year out of UCF.  Maybe a coincidence, but Taj was signed shortly after Ryquell Armstead limped out of practice yesterday.  Hopefully, Ryquell will be OK.

It's a combination of Armstead dinged up, Benny C dinged up, and Fournette taking a few vacation days.

Gotta keep the numbers up at the position and be able to run all the drills without wearing out the 2 healthy and attending backs.

Taj was one of the practice players at the rookie minicamp.

At his pro day he measured up at 6' 0 1/4", 209 lb and ran a 4.55 40. He also did 16 reps on the bench, had a 33 1/2" vert, a 10' 1" broadjump, a 4.31 short shuttle, and a 7.28 3-cone.
